Well.. I feel special

Tonite, I watched a very telling tale of the journey a mind can take...
it was called "Special"

Basically, while not being a very good movie in general, there were some key similarities to my life that I felt quite uncomfortable seeing in this tale.

Les (Michael Rappaport) leads a very unimportant life and signs up for a clinical trial of a new anti depressent. He experiences some side effects that, to him, are incredible, but to others, painfully sad.

I can relate to les in many ways, unremarkable day to day life, the need for grander things, and the depressing fact that in my mind, I am far cooler than I am in reality.

While i can't say I was entertained by this flick, I certainly learned something...

Life is what you make of it, reality does not have to be real, and no matter how many times the asshole in the car hits you, if you are not dead, just get up.
